The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the 64th CA Campus Placement Program for newly qualified Chartered Accountants this year. 

The placements will be conducted from April to May across 29 centers in India. The campaign is organized by the Committee of Members in Industry and Business (CMIB). Thousands of new CA participants participate in CA Campus Placements every year in search of jobs in audit, finance, taxation, consulting, and corporate roles.

By the end of 2025, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will have more than 4 lakh (400,000+) members, including both Associate and Professional Chartered Accountants. It is recognized as the world's largest professional accountancy body, with its membership expected to reach 4,07,629 as of 2026, along with approximately 10 lakh students. 

Recently, the ICAI organized its 64th campus placement program for Chartered Accountants who passed the Jan 2026 examination. Following a two-year gap due to COVID, the program was held this time in physical mode at nine major centers—Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, and Pune—in addition to 20 smaller centers across the country.

ICAI Campus Placement Program serves a dual purpose:

Process of ICAI Campus Placement 

The ICAI Campus Placement Programme is designed with accuracy to guarantee transparency and efficiency. Explore the seamless step-by-step process that connects aspiring CAs with top recruiters.

Step 1: Registration

• Platform: All the process is done online on the ICAI web portal (Committee for Members in Industry & Business, or CMI&B).
• Eligibility: CAs qualified in May exams are eligible to enroll for the September program, while those qualified in November can enroll for the January program. Even candidates who have completed their articleship but failed to get placement immediately due to an incomplete articleship can enroll for the next available session.
• Age Requirement: Under 21 years, special permission needs to be sought from CMI&B.

Step 2: Shortlisting

• Selection Basis: The selection of the shortlist is based on academic performance, experience, rank, or achievement.
• Notification: The portal will send tentative interview dates and locations to the shortlisted candidates.

Step 3: Interviews

• Centers: Interviews are conducted in two phases: at major centers (e.g., Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata) and at smaller centers (e.g., Noida, Chandigarh, Indore).
• Selection: Candidates not shortlisted in metropolitan centers are offered a second chance at smaller centers.

Step 4: Post-Selection

• Consent: The candidates should give their consent after receiving job offers. Candidates are not permitted to attend interviews after giving their consent.
• Documentation: The candidates are required to carry original documents and the registration form on the day of the interview.
