• Commerce graduates/postgraduates with 55% aggregate marks are eligible.
• Non-commerce graduates/postgraduates must have at least 60% marks.

Steps for CA Intermediate Registration 2026 

Enrolling in the CA Intermediate course is a straightforward process, provided you fulfill the necessary eligibility requirements. To get started, simply follow these easy steps:

• Visit the official ICAI website at eservices.icai.org. 
• Navigate to the 'Students Services' section.
• Select 'Entry-Level Forms' to initiate the registration process.
• Fill in your details accurately and carefully.
• Generate an OTP and verify your login credentials, which will be sent to your registered email and mobile number.
• Log in to your account, complete the CA Intermediate registration form, upload the required documents, and make the necessary payment.
• Finally, download and save your CA Intermediate registration receipt for future reference.

NOTE: Those candidates who appear for the first level of CA, i.e., foundation level, can also do CA Foundation Registration. 

Documents Required of CA Intermediate May 2026

To finalize your CA Intermediate registration, submit the required documents to the ICAI regional office within seven days of online registration. Ensure you have the following:

• Certified copy of Class 12 mark sheet (for CA Foundation Route)
• Certified copy of the graduation/postgraduation mark sheet (for Direct Entry Route)
• Certified copy of Intermediate level exam mark sheet from ICSI/ICMAI (for Direct Entry Route)
• A recent color photograph is attached to the registration form
• Certified copy of proof of nationality (for foreign candidates)
• Certified copy of special category certificate (SC/ST, OBC)

CA Intermediate Registration Fees for May 2026

The CA intermediate course offers two main sections: Group I and Group II. If you are coming through the CA Foundation Route, you can choose to register for Group I, Group II, or both. On the other hand, if you are entering directly, you have to register for both Group I and Group II.

• Foundation Route

This route is a three-tiered approach, comprising CA Foundation, CA Intermediate, and CA Final. Students who clear the CA Foundation level can directly register for CA Intermediate 2024, regardless of their educational background.

• Direct Entry Route

Designed for graduates or final-year students, this route allows direct registration for the CA Intermediate course. Eligible candidates can bypass the CA Foundation exam and proceed straight to the Intermediate level.

To register for the CA Intermediate course via the Direct Entry Route, candidates must meet specific qualification requirements based on their educational background:

• Commerce graduates/postgraduates: Minimum 55% aggregate marks
• Non-commerce graduates/postgraduates: Minimum 60% aggregate marks

Validity of CA Intermediate Registration May 2026

The CA Intermediate course registration is valid for 5 years. To extend it for another 5 years, a fee of ₹400 is payable. After the initial 5-year period, additional fees (as determined by the authorities) must be paid to maintain a valid registration.

1. Exam Form: ICAI releases the CA Intermediate exam form 2026 after registration closes. Submit the form before the deadline to appear for the exam.
2. Admit Card: Once the exam form submission period ends, ICAI issues the CA Intermediate Admit Card 2026. Download and carry it to the exam venue.

After the registration was discontinued, ICAI announced the CA Intermediate Examination Form 2026. If you are planning to take the exam, be sure to fill out the form before the time limit.
