CA Intermediate Course Registration Process 

Enrolling in the CA Intermediate course is a straightforward process. Students can register online by filling out the registration form and making the required payment. Upon payment, the system will automatically generate the registration form. To complete the registration process, simply print the form, attach the necessary documents, and submit it to the regional office. 

Important Documents Required for CA Intermediate Registration 

To complete your CA Intermediate Registration, please attach the following documents:

• Foundation Route Students: Attach an attested copy of your Class 12th mark sheet or equivalent certificate recognized by the Central Government.
• Direct Entry Route Students: Provide an attested copy of your graduation/postgraduation mark sheet. Intermediate-level mark sheet of ICSI or ICWAI.
• Recent Coloured Photograph: Affix a recent colored photograph on the hard copy of the registration form.
• Foreign Students: Include an attested copy of your proof of nationality.
• Special Categories: If you belong to SC/ST/OBC or are differently-abled, please provide an attested copy of the relevant certificate.

How to fill out the CA Intermediate Registration Form 

To register for the CA Intermediate course, follow these simple steps:

• Visit the official ICAI website.
• Log in to the self-service portal using your registered email ID and password.
• Authenticate and access the Student SSP portal.
• Select the student cycle, choosing either CA Foundation or direct entry.
• Fill in the required details, then click "Save and Next."
• Verify your login credentials by entering the received OTP, then log in again to provide additional details.
• Complete the registration process by paying the fees online.

Upon successful registration, ICAI will dispatch the CA Inter study materials to students within a month via the Centralized Dispatch System. Additionally, students can familiarize themselves with the CA Intermediate exam format by reviewing the exam pattern and marking scheme.

Validity of CA Intermediate Registration 

• The CA Intermediate registration is valid for 4 years.
• The registration can be revalidated for an additional 4 years.
• The revalidation fee is Rs. 400 (or as prescribed by the Council).

CA Intermediate Course Fees 

The CA Intermediate Course fees vary depending on the number of groups and the student's location. For Indian students, the total course fee for both groups is Rs. 20,700, while enrolling in a single group costs Rs. 14,500. International students, on the other hand, pay $1500 for both groups and $925 for a single group.

Prospective students taking the direct entry route are required to pay an additional Rs. 200 for the prospectus, over and above the stipulated fees. In contrast, foreign students must pay a registration fee of $1000 for both groups or $600 for a single group.

Direct entry students are required to undergo two mandatory training programs—ITT (Information Technology Training) and OP (Orientation Program)—prior to commencing practical training. Both programs are 15 days long. The fees for these programs are as follows: The ITT program costs Rs. 6,500, while the OP program costs Rs. 7,000, inclusive of study materials and refreshments provided by ICAI.

Course Duration of CA Intermediate 

The CA Intermediate course duration is typically 10 months. After enrolling for the exams, students undergo an eight-month study period, followed by the exams. The ICAI usually declares the results within two months of the last exam.

The CA Intermediate syllabus is structured into two groups, comprising six papers in total. The course curriculum is divided as follows:

Group 1:

• Paper 1: Advanced Accounting (100 marks)

CA Intermediate Training Details 

Upon clearing one or both groups of the CA Intermediate Exams, students must complete the requisite practical training as mandated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

1. ICITSS Training:

ICITSS Training consists of two 15-day courses: an information technology (IT) course and an orientation course (OC), with 6 hours of instruction per day. The fees for these courses are:

• IT course: Rs. 6,500
• Orientation Program (OP): Rs. 7,000 (inclusive of course materials and refreshments)

2. Articleship Training:

The 3-year articleship training is a mandatory practical training program for Chartered Accountancy students. This training aims to develop students into skilled, knowledgeable, and versatile professionals.

3. AICITSS Training:

AICITSS (Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills) comprises two 15-day courses:

• Advanced Information Technology: Rs. 7,500

4. Industrial Training (Optional):
