ICAI CA Intermediate Result Sept 2025 (OUT): Check & Download Scorecard

On 03rd Nov, 2025, ICAI released the CA Intermediate exam result along with pass percentage, toppers list, scorecard and etc. Candidates can visit the official website, i.e., icai.nic.in to check the result details with the help of registration number and roll number. 

The result includes passing marks, AIR rank (if applicable), subject-wise marks, qualifying status, and all. Those candidates who clear the CA intermediate are eligible to fill out the registration form for the CA Finals. 

CA Intermediate Result September 2025

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has declared the results of CA Inter September 2025 on November 3. The passing percentage of both groups was 10.06%. The results will be available on the official website icai.nic.in. Candidates will access their marks using their CA registration number and roll number to download. 

The examination was held under the new scheme introduced in 2023 between 4 Sept to 15 Sept 2025. Upon declaration of the results, the window for ICAI verification will be open, where candidates can apply for rehashing and certified copy inspection using the e-service portal.

Steps to Download the CA Intermediate Result Sept 2025

Candidates need to follow these steps to download their results. Simply follow these steps:

Step 1: First of all, visit the official website of the ICAI, i.e., icai.nic.in. 

Step 2: Find the option “CA Intermediate Result Sept 2025”.

Step 3: Log in through your ICAI registration number/PIN and roll number.

Step 4: After that, enter the CAPTCHA code and click on the submit button.

Step 5: CA Inter Result Sept 2025 will be displayed on your screen.

Step 6: Next, download your mark and observe the result for the Sept term.

Step 7: Take a printout of the CA Intermediate 2024 results for future reference.

Things to Mention on the Scorecard of the CA Intermediate Result, Sept 2025

The CA Intermediate Result Sept 2025 includes the details:

• Candidate's name and roll number. 
• Qualifying Marks in both groups are obtained by the candidates
• AIR Rank (if applicable)
• Pass or Fail status of group 1 or group 2 
• The overall score of Group 1 or Group 2

Passing Criteria for CA Intermediate Exam

• Minimum 40% marks in each paper. 
• If appearing for a single group, a minimum of 50% aggregate in each group. 
• For both groups, a minimum 50% in aggregate in Group 1 and a minimum of 40% in each paper in Group 2. 
• Distinction awarded at 70%+ marks in all subjects attempted.

CA Intermediate Merit/Rank Certificate 

ICAI has also published the CA Intermediate 2025 merit list or rank certificate. ICAI releases CA Intermediate Rank certificates as far as the 50th rank on an All-India basis. CA intermediate rank certificates are sent to the respective regional offices for further dispatch to the candidates. To get a rank certificate, candidates are also required to have the following:

• The need is to pass the examination on one attempt.
• No exception should have been made for any paper.

Verification of CA Intermediate Marks for Sept 2025

If you are not satisfied with your result, you can apply for the recheck of the CA Intermediate answer sheet. The ICAI authorities check a few things. 

• Make sure all of your answers have been considered. 
• Check if any part of your answer is missing. 
• Count your points correctly. 
• Compare the marks on the cover sheet with what's inside. 
• Check if your handwriting is uniform everywhere.

CA Inter Result Marks Verification Fees 

CA Intermediate Verification Fee to check your answer papers. 100 for each paper, but it is Rs. 400 for a whole group or both groups of papers. After the announcement of the results, you have to apply within a month. Provide your roll number, address, and papers you want to check. 

Apply online and pay using cards or digital wallets. Remember, you cannot ask to reevaluate the papers, and they will not accept the manual application for ICAI revaluation.

CA Intermediate Result 2025: Issuance of Certified Copies of Evaluated Answer Sheet  

You can now apply for certified copies of your assessed CA Intermediate answer books within 30 days of the result declaration. ICAI will not accept any manual application for this. The fee for this service is 500 rupees. 

To apply online to release certified copies, candidates need to follow the steps given below: 

• Visit the official ICAI website
• Log in using your registered user ID and password
• Choose the option "Get Answer Booklet."
• Upload a scanned copy of the handwritten application. 
• Indicate the papers for which you need the CA intermediate answer sheet.

Once you clear the CA Intermediate exam, you can join the argticleship training, which will take 2 to 3 years.
