CA intermediate goes deeply into various aspects of finance and accounting and equips you with the understanding of the same as a level that necessitates you to study a broad syllabus of 8 papers.

A student can sign up for the intermediate CA course in one of two methods.
1. With the help of CA Foundation Course
Registered students who passed the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India's CA Foundation Exams (ICAI).
2. Candidates may enter the CA intermediate level through direct entry and bypass the CA foundation level and foundation exams if they meet the requirements listed below:

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India both conducted Intermediate level exams, which they successfully passed. Direct entrance into the CA inter level is also an option for such individuals.
They have earned a minimum cumulative grade of 55% in three of the following subjects: Accounting, Auditing, Mercantile Laws, Corporate Laws, Economics, Management or Financial Management, Taxation—Direct Tax Laws and Indirect Tax Laws, Costing and Business Administration or Management Accounting. They are graduate or postgraduate students.

The CA Intermediate registration fee is $1000 for both groups and $600 for one group for international students.
In addition to the aforesaid expenses, students who are enrolling in the CA Program directly must pay Rs 200 ($20 USD) for the prospectus.
Prior to enrolling in the 15-day practical training, direct entry students must first register for the ITT and OP training programmes.
The cost of the ITT (Information Technology Training) programme is Rs. 6500, which includes all required reading materials and tea or other refreshments from the ICAI.
Additionally, the cost of the OP (Orientation Program) is Rs 7000, which includes all required reading materials and tea or other refreshments from the ICAI.
Go to https://eservices.icai.org or the ICAI website and click on the Service Portal Link. To access your self-service portal, enter your username and password.
Click on "Click Here to access the Student SSP Portal" following authentication.
On the student cycle, click.
Students taking the foundation route must now select "Intermediate through Foundation." However, using the “direct entry method”, students can select Intermediate.
Students using the direct entry method must then fill out their personal information. However, the CA Foundation student's personal information will be automatically filled in. Verify the information, then click "Save and Next."
You must then provide your qualification information.
Provide all the necessary documentation, then click "Save and Next" after filling out the information.
Post your photo and signature now. The image must not exceed 100KB in size.
Then select Create OTP. The OTP will be sent to the registered number you provided, or the ICAI will send a verification link to the email address you provided.
Click the Submit button after you have entered the OTP and the Captcha code.
Pay your CA Inter registration costs last. The application will be submitted, verified by the ICAI, and then authorised as necessary.
Login for CA Intermediate Registration
A CA Intermediate registration form will be generated by the system following a successful payment. The form must be saved by students, who must also print it off. Additionally, sign the form and deliver it, along with the required paperwork, to the appropriate regional office within 7 days.

Validity of ICAI CA Intermediate Registration - The CA Inter registration form is valid for 4 years. The candidate must revalidate his registration if he is unable to pass the exam within four years of registering.
The CA New Scheme of Education & Training has been introduced by ICAI. In this case, the institute extended the registration's validity from four to five years.
What documentation is necessary for CA Inter Registration?
Authenticated copy of the results from the class 12th exam or a test recognised by the Central Government.
For those enrolled in the direct entry programme: Authenticated copy of the ICSI (Institute of Company Secretaries of India) or ICWAI Intermediate level examination marksheet for graduation or post-graduate study (Institute of Cost Accountants of India)
Recent, coloured photography.
If a student is a foreign national, proof of nationality is required.
Proof of a certificate for a special category, such as SC, ST, OBC, or differently abled.
When completing the CA Intermediate registration form, make sure you have all the aforementioned documentation on hand.
After the aforementioned procedures are finished, CA Intermediate Study Material will be sent to the students via the centralised dispatch system within a month.
The registration deadlines for the CA Intermediate exams in May 2023 and November 2023 are September 1, 2022, and March 1, 2023, respectively. The relevant dates are shown in the table below.
