The ICAI has announced the CA Foundation exam dates for May 2026 on the official website of icai.org. The CA Foundation exam dates are 14th, 16th, 18th, and 20th May. Candidates must fill out the exam form before the last date to avoid late fees.  

All applicants who want to take the Foundation Exam are recommended by the Institute to register in advance and make the necessary preparations. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India conducts the CA Exam three times a year, in January, May, and September.

CA Foundation Exam Registration for May 2026

The ICAI accepts the application for CA Foundation students for the May 026  session. The students check the eligibility criteria and registration date to fill out the registration form for the CA Foundation course before the last date.  

Registration for the May 2026 session opens throughout the year. A candidate must register for the exam four months before taking it. Registration for the May 2026 session is open until March 16, 2026, with no late fees.

• Log in to the ICAI portal: Enter your current registration number and password to access the ICAI Self-Service Portal (SSP) at eservices.icai.org. You will need to create an account if you don't already have one.
• Upload your signature and photo: Make sure your signature and photo are current and of acceptable quality on the portal before completing the form.
• Fill the exam form: Go to the "Apply for Foundation Exam" or "Register for exam" area and fill out the application with the necessary information.
• Review and submit: Carefully read all of the disclosures and instructions. After accepting the terms, fill out the form.
• Pay the fees: Use the designated payment gateway to pay the exam application cost online.
• Download and Save: Download the confirmation page or a copy of the submitted exam form and save it for future use.

CA Foundation Admit Card May 2026

The CA Foundation admit card will be released around 15 days before the exam dates. Which means candidates can download the admit card in the first week of April 2026. The admit cards are available only on the ICAI website, eservices.icai.org, for download and printing. All the registered candidates can download their admit cards before the exam dates. ICAI will not send a copy of the admit card through the post.

CA Foundation Result May 2026

By June/July 2026, the CA Foundation's May 2026 attempt results will be available. On the official ICAI website, the results will be made public. By using their registration and roll numbers, students can verify their grades. Additionally, ICAI offers the option to receive the results via SMS and email upon enrolment.
